Terms and Conditions of the SuperVetDoc Foundation

Last updated: 10 April 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the SuperVetDoc Foundation (referred to for brevity as the "Foundation", "We", "Us") and all natural or legal persons who use any of its websites: staging-foundation.supervetdoc.bg (donations platform) and staging-platform.supervetdoc.bg (appointment booking platform).

By using any of the Sites you unconditionally agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.

Foundation details: SuperVetDoc Foundation, e-mail for correspondence: admin@supervetdoc.bg, manager: Vasil Enchev.

Article 1. Scope of activity (Statutory objectives)

1.1. The Foundation provides the following principal services through the Sites:

  • a) Donations platform — the ability to make voluntary, monthly (subscription) donations in support of causes for the treatment, prevention, care and rescue of animals.
  • b) Booking platform (booking system) — the ability to search, compare and book appointments with veterinarians and clinics, as well as to receive automated reminders.

1.2. Statutory objectives of the Foundation (determining the allocation of donated funds):

  • Support for the treatment of stray and domestic animals whose owners are in financial difficulty.
  • Funding of veterinary interventions in emergencies (trauma, life-threatening conditions).
  • Support for neutering, vaccination and microchipping campaigns.
  • Educational initiatives promoting responsible attitudes towards animals.
  • Building and maintaining a public register of trusted veterinary clinics.

Donations are not directed to a specific veterinarian, campaign or clinic — the funds are allocated by the Foundation's Management Board in accordance with its campaigns and the statutory objectives set out above.

Article 2. Rights and obligations of the User

2.1. Every User undertakes to:

  • Comply with these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy of the Foundation, and regularly review their updates.
  • Refrain from sending unsolicited messages (spam) to other users or to the Foundation through the contact forms.
  • Use the Sites in good faith and in accordance with applicable law.

Article 3. Registration and profile

3.1. Access to the full functionality of the two sites (making a donation, booking an appointment, managing a profile) requires registration.

3.2. Upon registration the User undertakes to provide true, accurate, complete and current data (names, e-mail, telephone and, where required, address) and to keep such data up to date throughout the period of use.

3.3. The User bears full responsibility for the confidentiality of their profile and password. They undertake to notify the Foundation immediately at admin@supervetdoc.bg upon becoming aware of any unauthorised access to their profile.

3.4. The Foundation shall not be liable for any damages arising from failure to comply with the obligation under Article 3.3.

Article 4. Donations (recurring monthly)

4.1. Nature of donations: donations are voluntary. They are monthly (subscription) — a periodic (monthly) charge of an amount determined by the User.

4.2. Minimum amount: The minimum donation amount is 3 (three) euros. The User may increase or decrease the amount at any time through their profile, provided that the minimum amount is observed.

4.3. Allocation of funds: donations are not directed to a specific veterinarian, campaign or clinic. The funds are allocated by the Foundation in accordance with its statutory objectives (Article 1.2) and approved campaigns. The Foundation publishes regular reports (at least once a month) on the allocation of the funds collected.

4.4. No refunds: Donations are not subject to refund, except in the following cases:

  • Proven technical error in processing (e.g. double charge).
  • Requirement of the law (e.g. upon withdrawal of consent for recurring donations within the period under Article 4.6).

If there is any doubt as to the lawfulness of the donation, the User should contact the Foundation at admin@supervetdoc.bg.

4.5. Donation certificates: The Foundation issues a donation certificate for the purposes of the Non-Profit Legal Entities Act (tax relief, reporting). The certificates are available in the User's profile on the donations platform. There are three types of certificate:

  • Certificate of enrolment in recurring donations — issued upon initial enrolment in the monthly subscription (confirming the commitment).
  • Certificate of donation received — issued on every successful charge (monthly).
  • Certificate of unenrolment from recurring donations — issued when the monthly subscription is terminated by the User or by the Foundation.

4.6. Cancellation of monthly donation: The User may terminate their monthly subscription at any time through their profile. Termination takes effect from the next monthly cycle; payments already made are not refunded.

Article 5. Appointment booking (booking system)

5.1. Via staging-platform.supervetdoc.bg the User books an appointment directly with a selected veterinary clinic or veterinarian registered on the platform.

5.2. Role of the Foundation: The Foundation does not provide veterinary medical services. It is merely a technical intermediary (platform) connecting the User with providers of veterinary services.

5.3. Responsibility for medical care: the veterinary examination itself, the diagnosis, treatment, procedures, prescription of medication and all associated risks are the sole responsibility of the relevant veterinary clinic/practitioner. The Foundation is not liable for the quality, outcomes or adverse consequences of the medical care.

5.4. Changing or cancelling an appointment: The User may change or cancel a booked appointment through their profile at least 2 (two) hours before the start time of the appointment, unless the specific clinic has set a longer period in its profile (e.g. 12 hours). In the event of cancellation after that period or unexcused no-show, the clinic is entitled to charge a "no-show" fee in accordance with its policy.

5.5. Restriction of access: upon a series of three (3) or more unexcused no-shows within a 6-month period, the Foundation has the right to restrict or block the User's access to the booking system for a period of up to 12 months.

Article 6. Rights and obligations of the veterinary clinics/practitioners

6.1. Veterinary clinics and practitioners who register on the booking platform undertake to:

  • Maintain up-to-date information about their working hours, services and qualifications.
  • Observe the deadlines set by the platform for confirming and cancelling appointments.
  • Refrain from discriminating against users and observe good professional practice.

6.2. Veterinary clinics/practitioners bear full responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided and for compliance with the Veterinary Medical Activity Act.

Article 7. Intellectual property

7.1. The entire content of the Sites (texts, images, logos, graphics, software code, databases, "SuperVetDoc" trade marks) is the property of the Foundation or its licensors and is protected by the Copyright and Related Rights Act.

7.2. Copying, distribution, modification, reverse engineering, public display or use of the content without the express written consent of the Foundation is prohibited.

Article 8. Disclaimer

8.1. The Foundation does not warrant that the Sites will operate without errors, interruptions, delays or viruses, but uses commercially reasonable efforts to ensure availability and security.

8.2. Limitation of liability: The Foundation shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages (including loss of profits, loss of data, damages from delay, damages from inability to book an appointment) arising from use or inability to use the Sites, save in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, which cannot be excluded by law.

8.3. The Foundation is not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party websites (e.g. external clinics, payment providers, social networks) to which our Sites link.

Article 9. Privacy and personal data

9.1. The processing of personal data (names, e-mail, telephone, address, IP address, donation and booking data) is carried out in strict accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and is available on the respective Sites (link in the footer).

9.2. By registering, the User gives their informed consent for the processing of personal data for the purposes of:

  • managing donations and issuing certificates;
  • booking appointments and related communication;
  • improving services and security.

9.3. The Cookie Policy governs the use of cookies on the Sites.

Article 10. Prohibitions

When using the Sites, the User undertakes NOT to:

  • 10.1. Post or send any false, defamatory, offensive, discriminatory, pornographic or unlawful information.
  • 10.2. Make donations from unlawful sources (e.g. proceeds of crime).
  • 10.3. Book appointments for the purpose of abuse, fake bookings, sabotage of clinics or harassment of veterinary staff.
  • 10.4. Use automated means (bots, scrapers, spiders) to access the Sites without the express written permission of the Foundation.
  • 10.5. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to servers, other users' profiles or databases.

Article 11. Changes to the Terms

11.1. The Foundation reserves the right to amend these Terms unilaterally at any time, notifying Users by:

  • publishing the new Terms on the Sites (in the "Terms and Conditions" section);
  • for material changes — sending an e-mail to registered users.

11.2. The changes take effect 7 days after publication, unless a longer period is indicated in the notice. If the User does not agree with the changes, they should cease using the Sites and, if they wish, terminate their profile.

Article 12. Termination

The Foundation may, without notice, terminate or restrict the User's access to the Sites (or part of their functionality) in the following cases:

  • breach of these Terms, the Privacy Policy or applicable law;
  • request from a competent state authority;
  • non-payment of fees (if any are introduced).

Article 13. Governing law and jurisdiction

13.1. These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law, including the Non-Profit Legal Entities Act, the Personal Data Protection Act and the Electronic Commerce Act.

13.2. Any disputes between the User and the Foundation that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement shall be referred for resolution to the competent courts in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria.

Article 14. Miscellaneous provisions

14.1. If any clause of these Terms is declared void or invalid, the remaining clauses shall remain in full force and effect.
